Data Intern

We’re looking for a Data Intern to support our data research, analysis, and quality processes. You’ll help maintain and grow our benchmarking database, working closely with our Head of Data Ops on projects that directly impact our clients. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong attention to detail, an analytical mindset, and a keen interest in how data drives business decisions.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist with data collection, cleansing, and validation across industries and functions
- Map companies to sectors and standard classifications using structured methodologies
- Conduct online research to enrich company profiles and organizational data
- Support QA checks and help ensure accuracy and consistency in datasets
- Collaborate with analysts and data engineers on ad hoc data projects
- Document processes and propose improvements to streamline operations
Requirements
Must-Have:
- Strong Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, lookups, etc.)
- Excellent attention to detail and a high standard for data quality
- Comfortable conducting structured online research
- Clear written communication and documentation skills
- Analytical mindset with an interest in businesses
- Right to work in the United Kingdom
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience with Python, SQL, or data visualization tools
